Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols just qualified for the Senior School surf team which will be held in August at North Stradbroke Island.

Isabella will be attending the Layne Beachley Camp again this year at the High Perfomance Centre next month to continue her development. Go Bella!!

Hive Team Rider Jacqui Hockaday has recently started competing with the Stand-up paddleboards as well as still competing with kitesurfing and has won the State SUP racing titles for SA on the weekend!

This is Jacqui's first ever title race and she won it.. stoked!!! GO Jacqui!!!

The Australia Body Art Carnival at Eumundi

Hive Swimwear was a proud sponsor of the Australia Body Art Carnival held at Eumundi over the weekend. Director Kat Hogg had the honour of judging the Wearable Art competition.
The theme for the event was "Under The Sea". There were 27 entrants with 12 finalists chosen. Judging criteria included Uniqueness, Quality of Construction, Interpretation of theme and Use of 2nd hand materials.

The winner was Julie Johnson with her "Merpunk" creation and runner up was Rochelle Writcham with "Coral Desconstructed". The encouragement prize went to Brie Devine for her "Calypso" masterpiece.

Hive Team Rider Taylor Raffaut has also just competed in the District School Surf Titles and has succesfully progressed onto Regionals with fellow Team Riders Isabella Nichols and Jaleesa Vincent.

Taylor with be competing in the Open Girls Division on May 24th at Coolum Beach. Go Girls!!

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols has just won the District Surf Titles and will now progress onto Regionals which are being held at Coolum Beach on May 24th.

Today Bella won against Saige Endersby who placed 2nd and Lucy Callister who placed 3rd. Go Bella!!!

Hive Team Riders Isabella Nichols and Jaleesa Vincent have both just qualified for the Coolum High School Surf Team with Bella placing 1st in the U16 and Jaleesa following close behind in 2nd.

Both girls will now go on to compete in the Regional School Titles this week. Go girls!!!

Hive Swimwear Volley Ball Team Swain/Huddy have just got back from recently competing. Despite the horrendously terrible weather on Saturday and sweltering heat on Sunday... the girls were able to secure ANOTHER SILVER! Woohoo :)

This weekend is looking to be HUGEEEE with the next round of the Aussie Beach Volleyball Tour hitting the sands of Surfers Paradise from Friday through to Sunday. The girls can't wait! Go Team Swain/Huddy!!!
