Hive Team Riders Isabella Nichols and Jaleesa Vincent have both just qualified for the Coolum High School Surf Team with Bella placing 1st in the U16 and Jaleesa following close behind in 2nd.

Both girls will now go on to compete in the Regional School Titles this week. Go girls!!!

Hive Swimwear Volley Ball Team Swain/Huddy have just got back from recently competing. Despite the horrendously terrible weather on Saturday and sweltering heat on Sunday... the girls were able to secure ANOTHER SILVER! Woohoo :)

This weekend is looking to be HUGEEEE with the next round of the Aussie Beach Volleyball Tour hitting the sands of Surfers Paradise from Friday through to Sunday. The girls can't wait! Go Team Swain/Huddy!!!

Hive Supporter Jade Egan (pictured with surfing legend Layne Beachley) enjoyed surfing with Layne at Coolum recently.

Hive Team Rider Taylor Raffaut has recently competed in her local school surf comp and placed an impressive second, making it into the sunshine beach state high junior girls surf team which is now off to compete at the district trials on May the 9th! Go Taylor!

Hive Team Rider Jacinta Greenup has just competed and placed 1st at the NSW regionals and is now heading off to compete in the State titles.

Great effort Jacinta, good luck at state!!!!

Hive Team Rider Anna Segal has just returned from Colorado after competing recently. The last competition for the season was WSI (the World Ski Invitational) held up in Whistler this April.
WSI is also counted as the AFP (Association of Freeski Professionals) World Championships. It's a platinum ranked event, equal in weighting to the X-Games.
Anna ended up earning her best result of the season by finishing first, which she was stoked about! A good way to end the season!!!

After the event, Anna had the AFP awards night, where awards were given to the top three ranked male and female athletes in each discipline, from their overall performances over the season.
Anna finished in second. This is a personal best for her.
Last year she finished fourth and the year before she came in third.

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols (Bella) has just returned from her first international surfing camp. Hive Swimwear and Telos Island Lodge co-sponsored Bella to attend the exclusive northern Indonesian surf camp which enabled her to surf perfect uncrowded waves. 

Bella also tested the Hive 2012/13 styles in the surf and 'got the shots' for the next catalogue! Keep an eye out for feature articles on Bella in the mags!
The new catalogue will be out in July 2012.
