Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols is one of the countries most naturally talented junior surfers that may set the surfing fraternity on notice in the future. From a sports talent identification point of view,Isabella has some qualities that set her apart. This girl could be a track hurdler because she has got the height or she could be a marathon runner because she has got the cardio endurance. I think Isabella wants to be a surfer and she has the mindset and determination to do it. Local business and sports enthusiasts have taken note of her outstanding performance in the recent Australian Surfing Titles where she placed second in the U14 and won the Rip Curl gromsearch in U14 division. Local business wants to support her aspirations to be a pro surfer.

Hive Swimwear from Noosa, organised a fundraiser to allow her to travel to her first international surf training camp in northern Indonesia at Telos Island Lodge in April. A fabulous collection of prizes was donated to help raise funds. Isabella was very appreciative of the support.

The draw for the prizes will be conducted at Coolum Surf on Australia Day. The prizes are DHD custom surfboard donated by Coolum Surf, Zee Wetsuit, Hive Swimwear package, Nautilus Resort 2 night package, Season Restaurant Dinner Voucher, Smythes Inc Hirdressing package, Noosa Longboard voucher.

Isabella will commence a specially designed training program put together by Olympic Sports Physiotherapist Peter Hogg from Noosa Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy. It will include many of the traditional and modern training concepts and programs used by successful winter athletes including Olympic gold medalists.

Isabella is embracing this support as it is structured and organised. Isabella hopes to be a real contender in the 2012 U16 Australian Surf Titles which will be held in Tasmania towards the end of the year. She is setting her sights on the Junior Pro series thanks to local support. Keep your eyes peeled in the paper as we hope to have some images from her camp.

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols consolidated her position as one of Australia's best junior surfers with another win over the weekend at the Ocean & Earth Teenage Rampage in NSW. This is Isabella's second consecutive win in prestige competitions for juniors. It is a real confidence builder after also winning the U14 Rip Grom Search in mid December at Coolum.

Hive Swimwear is helping Isabella win fund raising activity to pay for a training camp in northern Indonesia which is planned for April. The draw for multitude of great prizes is held at Coolum Surf on Australia Day at 10AM if you have time to attend. Any support for Isabella is greatly appreciated by Hive Swimwear,Isabella and her family.

Hive Marketing Director and Olympic Sports Physiotherapist Peter Hogg will structure Isabella's strength and conditioning program for the year. The program will include many of the conventional and new programs currently completed by the Australian Freestyle Ski Team.

Well done Isabella with this recent win in NSW !! - a testament to her ability to maintain competitive focus through an entire day of competition.

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols (Bella) has just returned from her first international surfing camp. Hive Swimwear and Telos Island Lodge co-sponsored Bella to attend the exclusive northern Indonesian surf camp which enabled her to surf perfect uncrowded waves. 

Bella also tested the Hive 2012/13 styles in the surf and 'got the shots' for the next catalogue! Keep an eye out for feature articles on Bella in the mags!
The new catalogue will be out in July 2012.

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols has just won the District Surf Titles and will now progress onto Regionals which are being held at Coolum Beach on May 24th.

Today Bella won against Saige Endersby who placed 2nd and Lucy Callister who placed 3rd. Go Bella!!!

Hive Team Rider Isabella Nichols just qualified for the Senior School surf team which will be held in August at North Stradbroke Island.

Isabella will be attending the Layne Beachley Camp again this year at the High Perfomance Centre next month to continue her development. Go Bella!!
