Hive Team Rider Kristi Page chosen to compete

The Australian Surf Festival is a 2-week event at Port Macquarie celebrating the iconic Australian surfing culture through national level surf competition with the Australian Longboard Titles, Australian Stand Up Paddleboard Titles and Australian Surfmasters Titles combining with surf themed art exhibitions, live music, film and education.

The Australian Surf Titles is the longest running surfing event in Australia. The Australian Surf Titles has been held since 1964 and in 2008 was renamed the Australian Surf Festival.

The beautiful and surf-rich Mid North Coast hub of Port Macquarie will again provide the perfect venue for Australian Surf Festival in 2011 with the 2-week event running 13-27 August.

The Australian Surf Festival will comprise of three National Title events including the Australian Longboard Titles from 14-20 August, the Australian Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Titles from the 21-24 August and the Australian Surfmasters Titles from 21-28 August, 2011.

Hive Team Rider Kristi Page has been selected by the Victorian Team to compete in the Open Women's Division in the Stand Up Paddle events.

In all, 360 of the best male and female surfers from around Australia will compete for Australian Titles in 24 age divisions across 3 surfing disciplines.
