Hive Team Rider Update - Alice Gilbert

Hive Team Rider Alice Gilbert is off to Port Macquarie tomorrow for the Open Womens at the Australian Surf Masters Short Boards Comp. Alice is super excited as she has been training really hard and is hoping to beat her result from last year.

Alice also recently competed in the 2011 SA State School Surfing Presentation on Friday. The girls team from Investigator College came 3rd, which was a great result as they are the only team of all girls. Alice and her friend Georgie also took out the Open Womens section for the forth year in a row.

They will now compete in the Junior Nationals in Coffs harbour later in the year and are both in the under 18's for the junior state team.
